The Sitting Room for Carers is more than just a discussion space... it's a community designed for you.

A space where you can learn to turn trauma knowledge into every day care, and feel genuinely supported while doing it.

Get To Know Us
We have a few rules in the room like taking care of our own mental health, not using the real names of other people we're talking about, and being kind with each other. We're all on this journey together! Please check out the rules as soon as you join to help us keep everyone safe.
Not a problem! Many people learn through simply hearing about other's experiences. Some love to share while others love to observe. There is space here for everyone.
Robin does monitor this community and participate in discussion to ensure everyone's safety. Our primary purpose is to learn and make connections but we know we're all human and we all make mistakes from time to time. If a trainer feels there is a risk to someone's safety we'll always try to get in touch with the person first to talk about it.
